1. EATING

Food and eating utensil will be provided. The caregivers are certified in food handlers and may total assist if need be.

2. TOILETING

Everything for toilet use will be provided. The home has 2 in room/private toilets and 2 public restrooms. The caregivers will be on site and able to provide total assist with toileting.

3. WALKING

There are plenty of space and areas where residents can safely go for a stroll outside. The hallway has enough room where resident may walk. Caregivers will be present to make sure everything is safe and there are no tripping hazards. Assist with walking can or will be provided.

4. TRANSFERRING

The caregivers are trained to provide the best and safest transfer as possible. However Hoyer lifts/ sit to stands are to be provided by the family/guardian if the equipment is needed for total assist.

5. POSITIONING

Positioning and repositioning will be assisted by the caregivers who are on site 24/7. Bed bound clients are to be repositioned every 2 hours to avoid pressure ulcers.

 

6. PERSONAL HYGIENE

Personal hygiene supplies will be provided unless client wants to bring his/her own. Caregivers are trained to provide assist with any hygiene procedure if needed.

7. DRESSING

Rooms are equipped with wardrobes and mirrors, and everything needed for one to get dressed. Caregivers are available if assistance is required or asked by the resident. Caregivers are also trained in providing total assistance with residents that are not able to dress themselves.

8. BATHING

The facility has a well equipped and safe shower that is available for the resident’s use. Caregivers are well trained on total assist showering and bathing if needed. Residents that are bed bound could be provided bed bath if needed. Bathing and showering are provided 2 times a week or as needed.

This Home and Staff will work hard to provide or assist the resident with the best personal care possible. Our goal is to maintain a clean, safe and respectful atmosphere for those around.
